“Regina” is "Queen," effectively “woman king” in English. This gallery is dedicated to Regina Larson-White. She was, among many other things, a painter and photographer. She studied the art of Gongbi (pronounced kung pee) with a master from China. Gongbi is essentially a way of outlining certain parts of a watercolor painting to give distinct edges and a 3D appearance. I have been a photographer for decades. Together, we developed a way to create the effect of Gongbi on photographs. Unfortunately, her work was cut short, but I proudly present what she created, along with my photography, in this gallery.
The process of combining photography, printing, getting the paper right, scanning, getting the color reproduction right, creating a website, and generating reproductions took a long time. It took too long and she lost an almost decade-long battle with cancer before we were ready to go.
Since then, technology has caught up with what we tried to do. Now, with this website, I can offer her work as well as my own photography. There is not a large amount of her completed work. Part has been scanned and is shown on this site. There will be more as time allows.

Over a decade ago, as the concept for this gallery was being developed, large-scale printing for sale was an obstacle that contributed to the inability to go beyond a website with a few pictures for viewing only.
Now, there are a variety of sources that can print and ship orders. Among them, I found fineartamerica to provide what I wanted: artwork printed on a variety of media and ina variety of forms that can be useful as well as pleasant to see.
Clicking on an image will redirect to its page on the fiuneartamerica website. The page includes a large image and the ability to see areas in detail. The picture may be ordered as a print on canvas, on paper and framed, on paper and not framed, as a poster up to 30x20 inches, metal, acrylic, a block of maple wood, greeting card(s), iphone case, throw pillow, duvet cover, shower curtain, or tote bag. Some of the images may not be offered in all of the forms because the size or nature of the image doesn't work well in that form.
